Audubon
Thursday, May 23rd, Phoenix will be traveling back to the Audubon center for another field trip. The spring session is called Aquatic Discoveries and is all about wetland ecosystems. Students will need to have a water bottle and lunch from home or sign up for a bag lunch from school. Please make sure your student is dressed for the weather and ready to be outside all day including shoes that can get wet. We will be back in time for afternoon classes. They may want to bring a change of clothes for our return to school.
We would be interested in having up to 3 extra approved adult volunteers. In order to come you would need to already be finger printed and have a background check. Let us know if you're interested in coming with us on Thursday!
STAR 360
Students will be taking the STAR 360 tests this week for math and language arts. They are quick and will be finished by Wednesday.
Summer Reading Skills Program
Clark University is offering an online program this summer. Students are coming home with a paper flyer. This isn't a school sponsored opportunity, but is available to all students. Read the flyer for more information.
